The Kronberg Academy Soloists are outstanding young violinists, violists and cellists who are studying at the institution. Kronberg Academy is today considered one of the most important meeting and training places, and a wellspring of creativity for young string players, and now for young pianists as well. Located in the heart of Europe, it is where the world’s exceptionally gifted young musicians come together with the great artists of our time, fostering a unique kind of mutual inspiration. This is how it provides the support that gifted young people need to mature as artists with a clear message about musical values to impart to the world.
A format which continues to evolve, and which holds particular significance in the concert calendars of the young soloists of Kronberg Academy, is “Kronberg Academy on Tour”. The concept and idea behind this is that, in Kronberg, the young soloists make up an artistic community that often remains in close contact after studies at the academy come to an end. These young musicians are best able to express the things that connect them in joint concerts. To this end, major concert halls and event organizers regularly invite Kronberg Academy to give concerts in which its students – often accompanied by the Kronberg Academy alumni and teaching staff – perform together and act as ambassadors of Kronberg Academy. These include London’s Wigmore Hall, the Louvre Auditorium in Paris, New York’s Carnegie Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
