Peter Schreier Choir

The Peter Schreier Choir consists of the Tapiola Chamber Choir and free-lance singers from the Helsinki area. It was founded in 1991 for performances of the Bach St. John Passion conducted by Peter Schreier in Helsinki. Since then the choir, with Schreier conducting, has performed all the great Bach vocal works, the Mozart Requiem and Haydn's Creation, and has appeared at the Savonlinna Opera Festival, the Naantali Music Festival, in Helsinki and Lahti.
