Ondine is thrilled to win two (!) prestigious Gramophone Awards in this year’s award ceremony that was held in London on October 4, 2023.
An album of orchestral works by Lotta Wennäkoski featuring harpist Sivan Magen, the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Nicholas Collon (ODE1420-2) has won the Contemporary music category, while the Latvian Radio Choir’s album of John Cage’s music (ODE1402-2) has won the Choral music category.
Ondine has released a total of 21 albums by the Latvian Radio Choir and their artistic director Sigvards Klava to date. The Lotta Wennäkoski album is Ondine’s second album release with music by the composer performed by the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
