Complete description

This CD features the great Finnish baritone Jorma Hynninen with Johannes Brahms's cycle of 15 Romances from "Wundersame Liebesgeschichte der schönen Magelone und des Grafen Peter von Provence" (Story Of The Love Between The Fair Magelone And Count Peter Of Provence) - a collection of poems by German Romantic poet Ludwig Tieck (1773-1853) based on a French tale of chivalry dating from the 14th century.

This recording was made in March 1990 at the Järvenpää Hall.
