Complete description

This CD features the Tapiola Choir under the direction of its founder Erkki Pohjola. They perform contemporary works which Finland's finest composers have written for this outstanding children's ensemble, starting with Bengt Johansson's Pater Noster in 1968. The choir is accompanied by the Tapiola Sinfonietta under Osmo Vänskä in Aulis Sallinen's Suita Grammaticale and three movements from Einojuhani Rautavaara's Children's Mass (1973).
