Released in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Tapiola Sinfonietta in 2008, "Idylli - Music for a daydream" contains thirteen famous slow movements by J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, L. v. Beethoven, Jean Sibelius and Väinö Raitio. This digipak CD compilation also features several of Ondine's star artists: soprano Soile Isokoski (track 3), pianist Olli Mustonen (5), violinists Pekka Kuusisto (1, 8, 11) and Jaakko Kuusisto (1, 2) and clarinetist Kari Kriikku (4). The Tapiola Sinfonietta is conducted by Peter Schreier (3), John Storgårds (4, 6-7), Olli Mustonen (5, 8), Pekka Kuusisto (11), and Tuomas Ollila-Hannikainen (9-10, 12-13).

The front cover features the painting 'Saimi in the Meadow' by Eero Järnefelt (1863-1937) who was Jean Sibelius's brother-in-law.
